Das Film & Medienbüro Niedersachsen (FMB) führt auf dem European Film Market Screenings nordmedia-geförderter Produktionen aus Niedersachsen und Bremen durch. Seit 1991 organisiert das FMB diese Screenings auf einem der wichtigsten internationalen Filmmärkte. Die Vorführungen und ein Workshopprogramm werden gefördert durch die nordmedia - Film- und Mediengesellschaft Niedersachsen / Bremen mbH.
Mit den Vorführungen wird nicht nur ein Fokus auf Film- und Fernsehproduktionen in Niedersachsen und Bremen gerichtet, sondern auch die internationale Auswertung nordmedia-geförderter Filme unterstützt.

Auf dem European Film Market (EFM) der Berlinale wurden vom Film- und Medienbüro Niedersachsen vom 9. bis 12. Februar 2019 acht nordmedia-geförderte Produktionen aus Niedersachsen und Bremen vorgestellt; fünf Dokumentar- und zwei Kurzfilme sowie ein Spielfilm.
128 FilmeinkäuferInnen, TV-RedakteurInnen, FestivalkuratorInnen, KinobetreiberInnen und weitere Gäste aus Japan, Iran, USA, Kanada, Israel, Russland, China, Australien, Süd-Korea, Taiwan und verschiedenen europäischen Ländern besuchten die Filmmarkt-Vorführungen.
Gezeigt wurde der Spielfilm ELECTRIC GIRL (Produktion: NiKo Film), die Dokumentarfilme SAGAN DALJA (Produktion: KAROFILM Thomas Bartels), GENA ROWLANDS (Produktion: Medea Film Factory), THE HAENDEL VARIATIONS (Produktion: MAAM, Christine Jezior), BORGWARD (Produktion: Cinecentrum Film- und Fernsehproduktion), THE LAST OF THE JOLLY BOYS (Produktion: Viet Filmproduktion) sowie die Kurzfilme DOROTCHKA (Produktion: Bildschön Filmproduktion) und MARINA (Produktion: werkgruppe2 GbR).
Vorab wurden die teilnehmenden ProduzentInnen in Hannover mit einem Workshop-Programm von Dr. Julia Dordel (Dorcon Film) auf die Präsentation auf dem Filmmarkt vorbereitet und bekamen Hintergrundinformationen über die Markt- und Vertriebssituation. In Berlin organisierte sie eine gemeinsame geführte Tour auf dem EFM.
